TCS offers the Lil’ Ducklings Stay & Play Community Classes as an opportunity for parents to learn and grow with their child while making connections with other families in a class facilitated by our early childhood educators.

The Tucson Community School Stay & Play Community Class experience is held in our toddler classroom, a cozy, home like environment thoughtfully prepared to encourage children to play and make new friends.  Together, as parents supervise and observe the children play, the teacher will facilitate discussions about the underlying science, mathematics and social studies of such actions as carrying, manipulating, climbing, and encountering each other as they move their bodies through space.

Little Ducklings Stay & Play Community Classes  are offered in 4 or 8 week sessions, and are open to 18-30 month old children.  TCS is not licensed to assist children with diapers or pull ups at school.  Parents must assist their own child with their toileting needs.

Children registered for the Little Ducklings Stay & Play Community Class must have a completed registration form with payment, Arizona Emergency Blue Card and a copy of current immunization records.  We appreciate all this information prior to the first day of camp. Per licensure, we cannot admit your child to the community class without the Arizona Emergency Blue Card and copy of immunizations on record.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our program, no refunds are given for days when your child is absent/sick.  Cancellations or refunds are not available after the first class of each session.

Currently due to the surge in COVID-19 cases in our community, TCS will not be offering our Little Ducklings program in efforts to reduce transmission to our current TCS community.

We appreciate you understanding this matter. If you are interested in being placed on an interest list - please email the director, Stephanie Castillo-Leon at
