Details
Join us for the first-ever TCS Art Show, featuring work made by our students! These pieces will be displayed in gallery format, and Art Show attendees will have the opportunity to purchase them.
This event will not only support Tucson Community School, it will highlight the powerful way that our school incorporates art into the curriculum. At TCS, students engage in "process art" -- an artistic approach that emphasizes the creative journey rather than the final product. It's a developmentally appropriate approach for young children because it allows them to explore materials and techniques without the pressure of creating something specific. This helps children develop creativity and self-expression; strengthens their critical thinking, social-emotional, and fine motor skills; and builds resilience and open-mindedness as they experiment, discover, and try new things.
Come see the world through the eyes of preschool students, in their first-ever gallery exhibition! It's an experience you won't want to…
