Tuition and Fees

Tucson Community School offers a 10 month school year (August through May).

*** Tuition Rates for 2017-2018 ***

HALF DAY (8:30-12:00):

Three (3) Days Per Week $450 per month*
Four (4) Days Per Week $470 per month*
Five (5) Days Per Week $500 per month*
* When a child is enrolled, parents are responsible for the full year tuition. Half (½) a monthly tuition payment is required to secure enrollment.  The remaining nine monthly payments are paid August through April.

FULL DAY (8:30-3:00):

Three (3) Days Per Week $650 per month*
Four (4) Days Per Week $670 per month*
Five (5) Days Per Week $750 per month*
Extended Day Drop In Rate (12-3:00pm) $35 per day^

BEFORE / AFTER CARE (8:00-8:30AM/3:00-5:00PM)   

$6.00 for any part of an hour

TUITION REDUCTION OPPORTUNITIES    * Maximum of $50 Credit Per Month

One (1) Additional Classroom Helper Day $25 credit per month
One (1) Additional School Volunteer Task $25 credit per month

Scholarship Opportunities:  Tucson Community School currently offers scholarship opportunities through First Things First, Arizona Scholarship Fund, Arizona School Choice Trust, the Institute for Better Education Scholarship Programs and the TCS Scholarship Fund (when funds are available). Each program has individual requirements and qualifications. Please contact the office for more information.

Discounts/Refunds: Teacher, military and sibling discounts available. No refunds are given for days when your child is absent/sick nor does TCS offer refunds during the school year (after the initial conference with the student’s teacher or the first day of school, whichever comes first.

Payments Due: Upon receipt of first tuition payment along with completed registration documents, the child is officially enrolled. Tuition may be paid by cash, check or VISA/MasterCard/AMEX.   Automatic payment with credit/debit card is available. Tuition is due and payable without notice by the first business day of the month. A late fee of 10% will be assessed to any payment not received by the tenth (10th day) of the month. The Office Manager must approve special payment arrangements. When a parent withdraws an enrolled child from the school, the parent is responsible for all tuition payments for the school year unless and until the vacated space is filled.  The tuition pre-payment is non-refundable upon completion of initial teacher conference in August or the first day of school for returning students.

The Board of Directors evaluates tuition and fees each year. These fees and rates are subject to change.
