Tucson Community School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The auction is TCS’ largest fundraiser in which the public, alumni and current families come together to bid on tremendous prizes to raise funds.


Each family procures the donation of at least two, unused items or services to the auction AND every family is given an auction job. Auction jobs vary from soliciting businesses, entering information into a computer and selling tickets, to set up, displaying items, and bartending.  Each family lists their preference of an auction job on their Registration Form when enrolling their children.

What kinds of items are donated?

Our auction attendees are alumni and current families. The types of items donated for our attendees have varied greatly over the years.   Some examples of items donated are tickets to the opera, handmade baby dresses, handmade silk scarves, succulent gardens, decorative pots, home furnishings, parent helper classroom days, babysitting services, fire pit filled with assorted barbeque foods & drinks, holiday wreath, family passes to Tucson Botanical Gardens and the Desert Museum, gift certificate(s) for cabin stays, swimming lessons, massages, restaurants, children’s gyms.

When are the items due?

Each family must turn in at least two, unused items or service by March 31, 2023. If a community members is interested in donating items, please email the director for an Auction Donation Form and to coordinate pick up or delivery. Email Stephanie Castillo-Leon at 

What businesses have donated in the past?

TCS is very fortunate to have support from many local businesses.  Each year, TCS mails solicitation letters to the many businesses that have donated in the past.  Please review this list.  If you are a frequent customer at any of these businesses or have a personal contact there, please follow up on behalf of TCS to inquire about this year’s donation.

To attend the 2023 Annual Auction 

  • If you are attending, please complete the registration form HERE! You can also purchase tickets at the door!

  • Tickets will include dinner, a drink ticket, and a night to remember with family and friends! Tickets are $25/person for current TCS parents/guardians and $40/person for other guests. 

  • Submit your payment of cash or check to TCS office (due by day of auction) or by PayPal (due by day of auction):

Bidding at the Auction

  • STEP 1 - Scan QR code (or click) on your phone or go to

  • STEP 2 - Click the 3 lines in the top right corner and go to "Register."

  • STEP 3 - Click "View Items" in green at the top to see all of the available items.

  • STEP 4 - BID! You must be a registered bidder and be logged in to bid on any items. Once logged in, fill out the bid amount field with your bid. Click on the "Bid" button on the item's page and confirm.

  • How do I know I've won? You will receive an email and/or text message confirmation. You may also log into your account and go to My Account - Order History.

  • How do I know I've been outbid? You will receive an email and/or a text message. You may also log into your account and go to My Account - Order History.

  • How do I pay for my items? Click on the "Check Out" link on any auction web page. Follow the instructions and enter your payment preferences OR you can checkout with cash or check at the school office.

  • When and how do I receive my items? Current families - feel free to pick up the next time you're on campus. If you are not a current family, please come April 17 - 19 between 10 am -1pm or call the front office to set an appointment.
